You should never date someone who expects you to put more to the table than them.

It should be obvious.

If they expect you to pay.

If they expect you to hear but not to talk about your stuff.

If they want to be held and care for but they don’t want to hold you or care about you.

If they want you to be “strong”, but they want to be “vulnerable”.

If it makes you happy to make them happy but it doesn’t make them happy to make you happy.

If you feel you are responsible for your emotions and for their emotions and they don’t even feel responsible for their emotions.

If you find yourself holding your feelings or your actions because you feel that things are unbalanced.
